What type of waves?
The 3MM is designed to perform well in a range of wave conditions, from small waves to more substantial surf. It’s particularly inspired by and suited for the waves from Haleiwa down to Chuns, making it suitable for different wave sizes and types.
Design:
Board Shape and Outline: The 3MM has fuller rails and a low rocker, providing stability and ease of paddling. It features a flat concave transitioning to a slight V from the middle to the tail.
Rails: Fuller rails for stability and maneuverability.
Rocker: Low rocker, enhancing speed and ease of surfing.
Bottom Contour: Flat concave to slight V in the middle to the end, offering a balance of speed and control.
Tail: Beak tail, adding more foam and lift, especially useful in smaller waves.
Performance: Designed for speed and easy rail-to-rail transitions, providing a fast and fun surfing experience with good drive and minimal effort.
Why is it called the 3MM?
The name "3MM" stands for "Three Mile Miracle," referring to the stretch of waves from Haleiwa down to Chuns. This name reflects the board's inspiration and its versatility in handling the various wave conditions found in that area.
